亚裔专家协会Association of Asian Professionals Association of Asian Professionals 亚裔专家协会 (AAP)

亚裔专家协会于1992年10月在德克萨斯州正式注册成立，原名中国旅美专家协会（CAPST）。三十多年来，协会从一个华人科技专业人士的交流平台，成长为拥有近千名会员、面向更广泛亚裔社区的专业团体。

为体现更大的包容性，经会员大会讨论表决，协会将英文名称更新为 Association of Asian Professionals（AAP），并相应修订了协会宗旨。

协会以提升会员职业能力、拓展行业影响力、服务社区发展为宗旨，积极搭建交流平台，培养新一代人才，促进多元文化的理解与融合。协会高度重视青少年发展，每年从休斯顿高中生中评选优秀学生并颁发奖学金。

AAP was founded in October 1992 and registered in Texas as CAPST, the Chinese Association of Professionals in Science and Technology. Over three decades it has grown from a network of Chinese American scientists and engineers into a community of nearly 1,000 members serving the wider Asian American community.

To reflect that broader membership, members voted to adopt the English name Association of Asian Professionals (AAP) and to update the association's mission.

We help members grow professionally, widen their industry reach and give back to the community. We build platforms for exchange, invest in young talent and encourage understanding across cultures — including an annual scholarship for outstanding Houston high school students.
